These very cool Christmas products make decorating and crafting super simple during the holiday season.
I just received a Cricut Expression as a gift and I can't stop making stuff! I have to admit, I've seen the infomercials on TV for months and have watched them as if they were prime-time programming!
These machines are really amazing. The reindeer above is actually a 1-inch cut-out I applied to the front of a Christmas card and just check out the detail. This is the most versatile cutting machine I have ever seen with cartridges that have thematic shapes, letters, fonts, and a variety of ways to cut them out: tags, cards, large and small images...it's a crafter's dream. Here's my daughter making some cards!
I'll be making a lot more party decor, paper crafts, and more once the holiday season is over and I can take some good photos of our easy art projects -- so stay-tuned!

Here's another innovative idea.
Rather than winding strands of lights around the Christmas tree, the folks at Trim-It-Quick have made the process as easy as hanging up your clothes.
The Trim-It-Quick lights are on hooks that you hang on the inner branches of your Christmas tree and then fan out to the ends of the limbs.
The result is a tree that is really illuminated inside and out as opposed to just on the ends or that "striped light" look up the tree.

This stuff is way cool! Just add water to the "snow granules" and they grow into snow in seconds. My kids love it. It's non-toxic and looks like real snow. I asked them to send me some so I could play around with it for a tabletop display and found it to be really fun for my kids and great for entertaining.
