Amaretto Orange Sauce
This pungent sauce is very sweet and an easy recipe to make. It's a great dipping sauce for appetizers like the Crispy Pumpkin Ravioli or try it on a dessert recipe.
- 1/2 cup Amaretto
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 2 cups sour cream
Heat Amaretto, orange juice, and zest in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and cook until liquid reduces to 1/3, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
Stir mixture into sour cream until blended. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until ready to use.
Makes about 2 cups
